Ps Balls
- Unlike the case of mineral abrasives like garnet, the PS ball is completely dust-free and this makes it suitable for use in surface preparation, rust removal, and shipbuilding applications. It is also commonly used for the maintenance of ships.
- PS Balls find applications in oil storage tanks, bridge construction work, in construction of heavy steel structures, in oil rig platforms, and so on; mainly for purposes of cleaning and surface preparation and are used for cleaning welded areas in storage tanks before repainting.
- It can be used as an abrasive material, to clean material surfaces and prepare them for painting.
- The typical characteristics make PS balls perfect for use in blast cleaning applications, as they provide the right atomizing of materials with respect to size, density, hardness, and durability.
- Due to its high bulk specific gravity of 2.42 Kg/l, precious slag balls are widely used as a counterbalance in many applications.
- PS ball is also used as a filtration medium as it is non-water absorbent and is very durable.
- Because of its nonslip properties, PS Balls can be used as covering on the road or as paving for concrete and asphalt roads. It adheres effectively with asphalt or concrete, and can therefore be used as efficient repair or reinforcement material for various purposes.

Precious Slag Ball
Precious Slag Ball, also known as PS Ball, is a novel material that may be created by rapidly cooling slag produced during the steel-making process using our unique Slag Atomizing Technology (SAT). In terms of compressive strength, hardness, and anti-weathering, it is superior to garnet sand or copper slag. By applying the supercooling process of molten slag, which utilises quick heat exchange of the falling liquid steel slag in high-speed airflow, the liquid steel slag stream is changed into spherical slag balls of varied sizes. Free CaO and Fe2O3 are dispersed throughout this process to create a solid PS ball, creating a stable Spinel Structure.
Characteristics of Ps Balls
- Environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
- Stable Spinel molecular structure formed by supercooling molten slag in the steel-making process.
- High strength and low abrasive rate.
- High density and very low friability.
- Very safe composition.
- High compressive strength and hardness.
- Durable can be collected and reused.
- Harder than copper and sand.
- High coefficient of friction and resistance to slippage.
- It has been proven to have higher efficiency than river sand for pollution removal.
- Under normal conditions, it generates fewer dust exhaust than copper slag and garnet sand.
Ps Balls Industrial Uses
- Shipbuilding.
- Steel Bridges.
- Heavy Steel Structure.
- Storage Tanks.
PS Ball in India
PS Ball in India at a low price. We provide steel shot, SS shot, copper slag, glass beads, steel grit, garnet sand, quartz shot, aluminum oxide, etc. We provide a large range of products and are checked on various parameters, such as density, physical and chemical properties, microstructure, hardness, durability. We are focused on our quality products and customer satisfaction.
Garnet sand may be a good abrasive, and a standard replacement for silica sand in sand blasting. The garnet, because it is mined and picked up, is crushed to finer grains; all pieces which are larger than 60 mesh (250 micrometers) are normally used for sand blasting.
Steel shot is harder than lead and features a lower density. To catch up on this you ought to move up 1 or 2 shot sizes and initially shoot birds at closer range – don't alter your shooting technique. As steel shot is harder than lead it is often driven faster without deforming the pellets - keeping tighter patterns.
Steel Grit is offered in a form of shapes and sizes which will admit administering a variety of blast profiles for obtaining different results. This sort of grit is angular in nature the way it's been created. This grit is good for helping to get rid of the contaminants from the surface of varied products and it also creates a final profile for the new coating to stick to.
Copper slag may be a by-product obtained during smelting and refining of copper. The waste copper slag is often used as abrasive tools, construction, and ballast.
The main use of aluminum oxide is in refractories, ceramics, polishing, and abrasive purposes. Large contents of aluminum hydroxide, from which alumina comes, is used in the production of zeolites, coating titania pigments, and as a fireplace retardant/smoke suppressant.
